Executive Director Participates in Training
Mary Anthony, Executive Director of The 1772 Foundation, recently returned from a week in Cincinnati, OH, where she took part one of the historic real estate finance course offered by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Development Council. This intensive training is designed for preservation professionals, advocates, and others working in the field of historic properties redevelopment. The first part of the course focuses on development finance, including underwriting, appraisals, cash flow, depreciation, passive income/loss, syndication, tax credits, and more. The second part of the course, about deal structuring and problem solving, will be held in June in Newport, RI. The 1772 Foundation provides support and oversight for this training opportunity as well as funding for 20 scholarships.
