1772 Funds New Position at the National Trust
A grant from The 1772 Foundation will fund the new position of Manager, Historic Properties Redevelopment Program Office at the National Trust for Historic Preservation for up to three years. Foundation president, B. Danforth Ely made the announcement at the 2013 National Preservation Conference, held in Indianapolis from October 29-November 2.
As described in an earlier post, The 1772 Foundation places a high priority on historic properties redevelopment programs or revolving funds. Making possible the new manager/coordinator position is another example of the Foundation’s commitment to strategic, impactful funding and collaboration to foster this approach to historic preservation.
